The park setup got divided in 3 areas, 2-3 Obstacles per area and yeah!…so much possibilities, so much fun. The setup permitted sick and creative runs on a very high level.

70 kids from all over Switzerland attacked our inscription table at 10 am. They almost killed us to get started their practice runs, so we felt like real animal trainers in a cage full of lions.

It was on!…the little kids opened the contest like a hurricane, the big kids finished it like a firework…check all the pics and especially the video in this report…my words here would be worthless.

Stylewars draws to a close as snowboarders take on the annual 28 Stairs competition under lights, and Mark McMorris is crowned new Stylewars Stairmaster. Best Trick goes to Seb Toots (Switch Hardway 270 Boardslide) and Best Aussie Rider is Jye Kearney from NSW.

Folgefonna (ski &) snowboard camp is a norwegian summer camp up on the folgefonn glacier about an hour and a half east of Bergen. As well as campers, race teams and the general public, the summer resort plays host to countless back country film crews and the occasional massive park feature.

I spoke to longstanding park shaper, Geoff Bostwick about the camp and the slope.

Billabong´s Snow Event is well established, running for 9 years and is held at New Zealand´s premiere terrain park (Snow Park). It started out as a Slope Style event, but for the last four years it has been a big air event. For the last three years it has been part of the TTR (Ticket To Ride) world circuit with a 3star rating.

Registration will be Friday 10th September 10am @ the Woolshed, Snow Park, Wanaka. Here you will be given your Bib and registration pack. Practice on course 11am – 12.30pm. Saturday 11th, practice on course 10.30am – 11.30 pm. Event starts 12pm

Entry includes a Billabong limited edition event hoody and Beanie, Accommodation (limited amount available) at Snow Park and entry into the VIP after party (Saturday 11th September, The Woolshed @ Snow Park). Drinks and food provided.

Buses will be available on Saturday 29th for competitors. They will leave from Outside Good Sports in Dumore St, Wanaka at 8am and 10am. There will be buses back from Snow Park to Wanaka at 5pm, 11pm and 12pm.

Helltrack has been an ongoing project in the hills of lake Tahoe, Thanks to B.J. Baur and Roan Rogers for inviting me and some friends to go shred it. Don’t ask me where it is because I was literally blindfolded and flown in by helicopter.
