The Oakley Arctic Challenge Finals – The Oakley Edit

The clouds broke up in Oslo, Norway at Tryvann Vinterpark for the men’s and women’s slopetyle finals at the 6Star Oakley Arctic Challenge. The women took to the course in the morning for a heated session, where Jamie Anderson (USA), once again, pulled ahead of the other competitors to take the win. The men’s finals went down in the afternoon and Chas Guldemond (USA) was awarded with the win for his flawless run on the progressive slopestyle course. Chas and Jamie were rewarded with the lion’s share of the $100,000 USD prize purse and 1000 Swatch TTR World Ranking points. With her win today, Jamie solidified her place in the World No. 1 position and is going to be tough to overtake in the women’s race for the TTR World Tour Champion Title.

Canada’s Sebastien ‘Seb Toots’ Toutant takes home first place after an amazing performance at the Oakley & Shaun White present Air & Style Beijing 2010. Coming back after a sick bail in his first superfinal run he made an unbelievable Cab 1260 Double cork melon grab in his second run and won the Contest with a score of 93 points!

The 2010/2011 snowboard season is starting with a big bang: The
legendary snowboard contest Air & Style is coming to Beijing, People´s
Republic of China, with the 6-star Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour
event “Oakley and Shaun White present Air & Style Beijing 2010” on
December 4, 2010, at the Olympic Sports Center Stadium, venue of the
Olympic football tournament at Beijing Olympic Games 2008. The event
is being realized with the full support from Beijing Sports and Beijing

Team Oakley has taken out the Dew Hut Jam in style, pocketing $12,000 in prize money and proving their metal on a specially built course with ride-able ‘house’ at its centre.   The Dew Hut was centre stage of the slopestyle snowboard course where the top riders in the Southern Hemisphere went for broke in a bid to win part of the $19,000 cash prize purse. The Dew Hut Jam is the richest freestyle snowboarding contest in the country and is a 3Star event on the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour.
